“How do you actually compose something?” is the theme of the school break project OPUS ONE. The basis for this composition project is Benjamin Britten Sinfonietta Op. 1. Under the guidance of the oboist, composer and music educator Cathy Milliken, young people between the ages of 14 and 19 will work in groups to create music themselves, thus learning the fundamentals of composition.

Whether being musically active together, or simply listening or asking questions – this is an opportunity for you to meet composers and musicians during the 2014 winter holidays in an informal setting.
