REMIX - Glorious Percussion

Glorious Percussion by Sofia Gubaidulina is the basis for this first project of the season. Using the central preoccupation of the work, namely the correspondencies of intervals and their difference tones, high school students will be examining the various sound and rhythmic possibilities of a large array of percussion instruments to compose a work which they will perform together with musicians of the orchestra. The project is part of the musikfest berlin 09.
