7th Competition for Young Student Composers

For this family concert, the actor Hans-Jürgen Schatz as narrator and the Ensemble Berlin invite you on an adventure-packed journey with Maximus Musikus. The little mouse Maximus dives into the world of music where he discovers lots of exciting things. This wonderful story was carefully thought out by Hallfríður Ólafsdóttir, principal flautist with the Iceland Symphony Orchestra, and has been turned into a charming children’s book, with illustrations by Thórarinn Már Baldursson. Accompanied by melodies such as Maurice Ravel’s Ma mère l'oye, his visit with the Ensemble Berlin to this family concert will be a very special experience – and not only for Maximus Musikus!
