Camille Saint-Saëns’s Carnival of the Animals is a suite in which the composer has assigned every movement to a single animal. Two schools were chosen to create visual art elements, as well as to develop short texts about how the children imagined the animals to appear based on the music of Saint-Saëns. They are generating the base material for a film rendition, which will be presented during a performance of Carnival of the Animals by Katia and Marielle Labèque with the Scharoun Ensemble
