MusicART – Bildsequenz

A troubadour in an old castle, the catacombs of Paris, the witches ride of Baba Yaga – only a few of the sketches of Viktor Hartmann remain, the rest we reconstruct from Mussorgsky’s music. In reference to Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition, primary school children will recreate the sketches by creating small choreographies relating to the scenes, these then forming the basis for their own compositions.
