Daniel Barenboim, Iván Fischer and Sir Simon Rattle: “Music is our international language which reaches and touches people everywhere. As musicians, we feel welcome all over the world. We hope that this also applies to people who are cruelly hit by fate and who are forced by war, famine or persecution, to leave their homes. With our joint concert, we want to wish refugee families welcome and express our thanks and appreciation to their helpers.”
