Since many years the Berliner Philharmoniker, one of the world’s leading orchestras, delights music lovers all around the globe. Its passion to perform, top quality and propensity to break new ground are characteristics that make it an ideal partner for Deutsche Bank.

Recently we extended our partnership with the orchestra for another five years, thus securing groundbreaking projects such as the Digital Concert Hall, which transcends national boundaries and bridges social divides to bring classical music closer to people of all backgrounds and ages. We are pleased that an ever-growing number of music fans experience live broadcasts of concerts in this virtual concert hall.

With another project, Zukunft@BPhil, also sponsored exclusively by Deutsche Bank, we have introduced more than 16,000 children and young people from all social backgrounds to classical music so far, opening up new horizons for them and helping to develop their creative skills.

We very much look forward to continuing our partnership with the Berliner Philharmoniker and wish the orchestra and its conductor Sir Simon Rattle as well as its new director Martin Hoffmann every success for the coming season.
