Radek Baborak began playing the horn when he was only eight. In 1994 he completed his studies with honours at the Prague Music Academy, where his teacher was Bedřich Tylšar. Following his early experience in the orchestras of his native Czech Republic, he was engaged as principal horn by the Münchner Philharmoniker and then by the Berliner Philharmoniker. Baborak also appears as a soloist and chamber player in international music capitals and at leading festivals.
