Alessandro Cappone joined the first violin section at the age of 22, even before completing his studies with Thomas Brandis at the Berlin Hochschule der Künste. As a concert soloist and chamber player he has already travelled to many European countries, the USA, Russia, Japan, China and Australia. In 2002 Alessandro Cappone succeeded Toru Yasunaga as director of the Berlin Philharmonic String Soloists.
